2. What this notice covers

This notice covers our website, superpetrel.asia, and any enquiry you send us by email, WhatsApp or phone, together with any demo flight, training or aircraft purchase that follows. Other services you reach through our links — such as YouTube, WhatsApp and Google Maps — have their own privacy policies.

3. Personal data we collect

Our website has no sign-up forms, accounts or analytics, so simply browsing it does not give us your personal data. We receive personal data only when you contact us or do business with us:

• Enquiries: your name, contact details and whatever you write in your message.
• Demo flights: your name, contact details, an emergency contact and the information needed for the flight risk acknowledgment and safety briefing (for example, weight, for aircraft loading).
• Training: identity card or passport details, address, emergency contact (next of kin), club membership number and pilot licence and medical details, plus your training records and evaluation reports.
• Aircraft purchases: identity and company details, address, and the information needed for invoices, payments, import, insurance and aircraft registration.

Giving us your contact details is voluntary. For training, flights and purchases, some data is required by law, by aviation authorities or by insurers — if you don't provide it, we may not be able to provide that service.

4. Why we use your data

• To answer your enquiry and keep in touch about it.
• To arrange and safely carry out demo flights and training, including insurance and emergency procedures.
• To order, import, register and deliver an aircraft you buy, and to support you afterwards.
• To keep the records we are required to keep by law, for example aviation, tax and accounting records.

We do not sell your personal data, and we will not send you marketing messages unless you ask us to. You can stop them at any time.

5. Who we share it with

We share personal data only when needed for the purposes above:

• Scoda Aeronáutica (the aircraft manufacturer, in Brazil), for aircraft orders, warranty and technical support;
• freight, customs and import agents;
• the Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia (CAAM) or the aviation authority of your country, for registration and licensing;
• insurers, banks and payment providers, and our professional advisers;
• government authorities, where the law requires it.

Messages you send us are carried by the services you choose to use (for example Gmail or WhatsApp).

6. Transfers outside Malaysia

Some of the recipients above — such as Scoda Aeronáutica in Brazil and our email and messaging providers — are outside Malaysia. We transfer only what is needed for the purpose, and only as permitted under the PDPA.

7. Our website

The site sets no cookies and uses no analytics or advertising trackers. Fonts and images are served from our own site. Videos load from YouTube only when you press play. Our hosting provider records basic technical data, such as IP addresses, to run and secure the site. See our Cookie Policy.

8. How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for up to two years after our last contact, unless you become a customer. We keep customer, flight, training and aircraft records for as long as the law requires (typically up to seven years), then delete them securely.

9. Keeping it safe

We take practical steps to protect personal data from loss, misuse and unauthorised access, and we limit access to the people who need it. If a data breach occurs, we will notify the Personal Data Protection Commissioner and, where required, the people affected, as the PDPA requires.

10. Your rights

You can ask us to:

• give you a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
• correct data that is inaccurate, incomplete or out of date;
• stop using your data for a particular purpose, or withdraw your consent (this may stop us providing a service);
• transmit your data to another organisation, where the PDPA gives you that right.

11. Children

Our services are intended for adults. If a minor joins a demo flight, a parent or guardian provides the required details and consent.

We may update this notice from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest version.
